French Maple Dressing

Recipe from Aline Bouchard, Franklin, VT.

Winner : Preserves, Sauces, Dressings - Vermont Maple Festival 2003

  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 2/3 c. ketchup
  • 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. + 1 tbsp. dark maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp. minced onions
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. paprika

Put all ingredients in a shaker and shake well. Refrigerate 3 hours to blend flavors. Shake well before using.
