Vermont Maple Syrup Producers To Hold
Eleventh Annual Maple Open House Weekend

Visitors are welcome at sugarhouses all over Vermont in March each year. Dates to be announced.

The Annual Vermont Maple Open House Weekend will be held at sugarhouses throughout Vermont. . The Open House Weekend is a celebration of the maple syrup season and an opportunity for the public to visit one or more “sugarhouses” throughout the state to learn about Vermont’s first agricultural crop of the year. Activities during this free event may vary at each sugarhouse. You will have the opportunity to watch maple syrup being made (weather permitting) and to sample pure Vermont maple syrup and other maple products.

Vermont is the largest U.S. producer of maple syrup. There are approximately 2000 maple producers in Vermont.

Information about all of the participating maple syrup producers including which of the three days they will be open and directions to their sugarhouses can be found below.

Directions: We are located at 780 Shaker Hill Road in Starksboro. We are 8/10 of a mile east of the junction of Big Hollow Road. The main house is a log cabin and the sugarhouse has a red roof.
