Vermont Maple Open House Weekend 2010

The Ninth Annual Vermont Maple Open House Weekend will be held at sugarhouses throughout Vermont, March 26-28, 2010. The Open House Weekend is the public celebration of the maple syrup season in Vermont and an opportunity for the public to visit one or more "sugarhouses" throughout the state. Activities during Open House Weekend will be different at each sugarhouse but will include the opportunity to watch maple syrup being made (weather permitting) and often sample maple products.

OHW Description: Samples of maple candy and other maple treats will be offered. All our products will be offered for sale. Hours are 10 am to 3 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Please call if you have any questions!

Directions: Once in Jeffersonville, follow Route 108 South up the mountain road towards Smugglers’ Notch Ski Resort. After two miles, there is a bright yellow building on your right. Take the road immediately after that – Stebbins Road. Follow that for 1 mile and bear left with the road. Go approximately .6 of a mile and make a right on Iron Gate Road. Approximately 100 yards down is Palmer Lane. Please park on Iron Gate Road and walk down the driveway to the sugarhouse!
