Lower Connecticut River Valley Maple Open House Weekend Tour

Lower Connecticut River Valley

From north to south, Vermont’s Lower Connecticut River Valley blends past and present. The journey begins in Windsor, where the Republic of Vermont was born on a stormy night in 1777. Farther south, Springfield and Bellows Falls reflect the region’s industrial heritage, once thriving centers of 19th-century manufacturing. By the time you reach Brattleboro, the pace shifts to a creative, forward-looking energy. Today, this artsy hub anchors a region defined by both modern spirit and the enduring beauty of the river valley it calls home.
