The future looks bright...and sweet
VMSMA has partnered with community food and agriculture partners to connect our local sugar makers with Vermont schools. Our collaborative project sought to ensure that schools were including Vermont maple syrup in their menus and to expand opportunities for students to learn about how maple is made. Together, we have developed educational materials and procurement templates to strengthen relationships between sugar makers and Vermont schools.
