Upper Connecticut River Valley Maple Open House Weekend Tour

Upper Connecticut River Valley

Flowing south from the Northeast Kingdom, the Connecticut River bends at Newbury before winding through farms and forests past towns once shaped by this early “highway.” Along the way, the Upper Connecticut River Valley produced influential innovators, leaders, conservationists now honored at Vermont’s only national park, and pioneers whose experiments helped launch the state’s ski industry.
