Smokey House Center
Smokey House Center is a living laboratory that advances ecologically sound farming and forestry. Through the integration of research and innovation undertaken with its farmer, forester and academic partners on its 5,000+ acres of forest and farmland it provides work and learning that includes local youth and that is intended to map out a progressively more sustainable relationship with the land for all of us.

Open House Activities
Join us for our annual Maple Open House and celebrate the sweet traditions of the sugaring season! Tour our sugar house, learn about the maple syrup-making process, and enjoy delicious maple tastings. Families can take part in fun kids’ activities, explore our trails, and connect with Smokey House Center staff to learn more about our land-based programs. See you at Smokey House Center!
