Open House Activities
Stop by our small, traditional 175-tap sugar operation, where we combine time-honored methods with modern advancements. Using 3/16" tubing and a dozen buckets, our setup maximizes sap collection, with some lines pulling over 20" of vacuum by gravity alone—and up to 28" with a small vacuum pump.

See our 2x6 wood-fired evaporator in action (boiling weather permitting) and learn how our reverse osmosis (RO) system improves efficiency by removing about a gallon of water per hour, saving both time and fuel.

Enjoy Sugar on Snow and a firsthand look at how we produce pure Vermont maple syrup. We look forward to your visit!
Hours of Operation
Sunday Only: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Closed Saturday due to a funeral)
Open House Directions
From the Hyde Park roundabout (Jct. 15 & 100), go north on Route 100, take the first left onto Battle Row Rd, drive 1 mile, then turn left onto High Chaparell Dr. We are the second house on the right—the sugarhouse is a short walk around the house.
