Moose Mountain Maple

Wood fired sugar house boiling 23k taps. For seven generations, the Butler family has collected sap, even from some of the same trees, and boiled it down to make delicious maple syrup. While the ingredients have never changed, each generation has worked hard to increase the efficiency of the farm. However we still boil our syrup over a wood burning fire. From when we used to gather sap with horses, sleighs and buckets, to our current certified organic sugaring operation, Moose Mountain Maple is a small piece of Vermont history.
