Cranberry Maple Rosemary Mocktail
Recipe from Cook with Manali
Ingredients:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup maple syrup
2-3 twigs rosemary
To make the mocktail
1-2 oz of the prepared syrup 2 oz for sweeter drink
2 oz cranberry juice no sugar added
Pinch all spice
2-3 oz soda water
Ice cubes
Rosemary, cranberries for garnishing
Instructions:
1) First, we will make the maple rosemary simple syrup. To a pan on medium heat, add water, maple syrup and 2-3 twigs of fresh rosemary. Let it heat up (no boiling needed), and once warm turn off the heat. Cover the pan with a plate and let it sit for around 20 to 30 minutes for the flavors to steep in. This makes enough for 4 to 5 drinks depending on how large or small your glasses are and how such syrup would you add to each drink.
2) Once the flavors are well infused, it's time to make the drink. I am giving quantities for a single drink here- For 1 drink, to a cocktail shaker, add 1 to 2 ounces of the prepared syrup (1 oz. for a less sweeter mocktail).
3) Then add 2 ounces of cranberry juice (use unsweetened juice). Add generous pinch of all spice.
