Are you considering a project to strengthen or grow your maple business? Join us for a free online presentation and Q&A focused on the Vermont Working Lands Enterprise Initiative (WLEI) Business Enhancement Grant.
The Business Enhancement Grant provides funding to support projects related to equipment, infrastructure, marketing, workforce development, and other business investments. Applications for the upcoming grant round will open October 9, 2026, making this webinar a great opportunity to start planning now.
During the session, participants will:
- Learn more about the WLEI Business Enhancement Grant and the types of maple projects it can support
- Get tips for developing a strong, competitive application
- Learn about grant project planning assistance available before applications open
- Discover additional resources available through UVM Extension’s Forest Business program
- Have an opportunity to ask questions

Applications Open: October 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM
Application Deadline: December 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM
The upcoming grant round will support projects anticipated to begin in spring 2027 and be completed within one year.
