Bird-Friendly Maple HabitatBusiness overview
Sugarbushes are inherently good for birds, but sugarbushes managed with birds in mind are even better! Come visit Audubon Vermont's Bird-Friendly sugarbush at the Green Mountain Audubon Center!
For more than 50 years, the Green Mountain Audubon Center has been producing 100% Pure Vermont Maple Syrup on-site. The sap is still collected by buckets and boiled over a wood fire in our sugarhouse. We mindfully manage our sugarbush to create diverse, healthy bird habitat.
Come see for yourself! The free trails in our sugarbush are open to the public every day, year-round. During sugaring season, pop into our sugarhouse anytime steam is rising from the cupola to see sugar making up close! Then head up to our Visitor Center to buy some syrup to take home! (The Visitor Center is open M-F 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
