Rue's Maple Syrup at Robinson Farm

The sugarhouse at Robinson Farm has been operating since the 1960s and was even featured on the cover of Vermont Life Magazine during that era, but after years of disrepair it sat mostly quiet—until 2024, when it was fully restored and sugar production came back to life. In our first year back, we produced about 60 gallons of maple syrup, along with maple cream and maple candy, all of which we proudly sell in our farm stand in the fall. Located on Robinson Farm, established in the 1800s, the sugarhouse continues the property’s long agricultural tradition. Today, a descendant of the original Robinson family carries on the sugaring work, bringing new energy to a celebrated piece of the farm’s history.
